You may not see this

but this one's for you

been bottling up my feelings

trying to hide the truth

I try to act normal

whenever you’re near

I try to hide my smile

but its ear to ear

you make me feel things

that I don't understand

like that jump in my heart

whenever you hold my hand

There’s a lot of things

I’d like to say

how are you? I miss you.

I hope you’re okay.

I don't really know

If I should tell you

I've kept it for a year

cuz I fear I'd lose you

But is it worth it?

to leave words unspoken?

just because I fear

that the friendship will be broken?

so I wrote this poem

just to put it out there

to let you know I'm here

and that I truly care

I see it in your eyes

the pain and the sorrow

You always try to hide

what you can til tomorrow

but when tomorrow comes

I’ll still be here

whenever you’re ready

to let go of those tears

it hurts me too

to see you this way

all I want is to hold you

and take your pain away

I’ll hold you tight

I won’t let go

let me take your hand

and you will know

How love feels like

When its true

just take my hand

and take my whole life too.
